ALL of it was done with class, dignity & in a way professionals should act when conducting business.
So why the need for so much cheese here, including from you . . .

Not saying high school coaches haven’t been successful but I don’t think you can use that either when it comes to coaching at a Division I-A school
It is experience though, I don’t see anyone saying that bc he coached high school he will be successful but he has been in charge of a program. He took a terrible program and brought them to state semifinals. People bring up his age but he is only 2 years younger than Napier was when he got here. He is older than Sean Mcvay who coached in a super bowl. If he would have been with hud at north Alabama or cane with Napier from ASU like Rob Sale would his “experience” be that much different? Mike Is a smart guy, I don't think he would have accepted the job if he didn’t believe he was ready. The dude is a winner, you can’t teach that. These concerns everyone has are legitimate I guess but not sure how it concerns anyone more than the guy who hired him and interviewed him for 4 hours and watched him for 4 years, mike apparently alleviated those concerns to the guy that hired him.

Just curious, but has Maggard hired a coach yet that hasn't improved the team/culture?

    Let's look:

    Glasco- Homerun (no pun intended)
    Napier-Homerun
Matt Deggs- time will tell, but even though he was hired by Maggard, this was kind of forced upon him under the circumstances. However, I believe Deggs will be another homerun.
Kristi Gray (volleyball)- Volleyball had one of its best seasons' ever.
Lon Badeaux (Track) - Another strong season.

MD- will see, but if Maggard says he is the man, then I have to believe MD is the man.

Did I miss any coaches hired by Maggard?

    Yes, you missed a couple.

#1 Lance Key--will become a Homerun for soccer
#2 Luc Godin--Men's Tennis, this is a great hire.

He has been highly thought of by college coaches for a while. He has contacts.

His track record is proven.. eye for the "it" factor and not the eye test.
