……….Well just think about the program and what just happened…….They won the NO Bowl with a new head coach, left over assistants, without star all American players on offense and defense, did a great job of keeping early signees, made a very favorable impression on those being recruited……I can assure you there are VERY capable coaches across the country itching like hell to become a part of this culture……Same goes for associates and staff positions whom will be hired only if they can fulfill the high standards of the guys that are no longer here…ll.also I think that the money pool will help as far as that is a concerned to talented hiring!

Lets just say it is a that coach we all assumed would be here, I bumped into him yesterday and asked, hey coach you gonna be hanging around here? He said "that remains to be seen".

Now that could have been I can not say until it is official. But the facial expressions and the non verbal message would have suggested other wise.

That answer certainly can be taken many ways. One being CMD hasn’t asked him to stay. Another could be he’s hoping for another offer, and many more possibilities.

Grambling O-line coach Bryant Ross is expected to become the new offensive line coach at Louisiana. A former staffer at Miss. State, Ross spent three seasons at the University of Louisiana as assistant offensive line coach under Billy Napier from 2018-2020. Ross will work with Louisiana OL coach Jeff Norrid. Under Norrid, this season the Ragin Cajuns averaged almost five yards per carry and had 34 rushing TDs--10th most in the country.

Did GSU have a dominating run game in the SWAC that I am unaware of? Looks to me like a good example of a hire when the coach has no network outside of La. He is coming from a fired failed staff.
