We can be like McNeese. I bet CajunVic and fanof71 would love it.

Manny Diaz was just fired from Miami… Des should go after him for DC

Diaz does know defense. That is for sure. Wouldn't hurt to make a phone call.

I would look over the latech staff. There are probably a couple of guys over here looking for jobs that could help us in many areas.

One has to have at least a minimum amount of knowledge to know or bet what Vic would love, you sir have shown to be way lacking on the knowledge category here . . .

Get Tony Hull for running backs coach / Co-OC
Jorge Munoz back as passing game coordinator/QB coach

This, with a proven DC and some hungry young assistants ready to work 18 hours a day on the recruiting trail, support staff and analysts.

Let's remember we had a boatload of analysts on staff. I'm sure a couple will get consideration.

You're kidding, right? Love to know the reasoning behind that opinion.

Munoz would be interesting dynamic. Student becoming the teacher to his teacher.

I don't mind using him as a position coach or analyst but we were average at best when he was passing game coordinator and OC in 2016, our offense was horrible. It was amongst the worst passing attacks we've had over the years and overall the offense wasn't very good. Our passing attack blew up in 2011 after he served as passing game coordinator for 3 years prior. Same players for most part. I think if Jorge was that good of an offensive coordinator he'd be more than an analyst right now. I don't mean to speak poorly of him and I know some of our staffers have an excellent relationship with him but I'd like to think our program has progressed and moved beyond guys we employed for a long time in the past.
