Go get Blaine to be one of the offensive position coaches. Kid has paid his dues.

I for one am going to get behind the new coach 100% but forgive us who are not giddy with the hire
Dez comes from The Napier tree. The first of many I am sure

What? We dont have room for Louie Cook? Mentioning Lance Guidry...are you crazy? I know, let's get Ron Guidry...lets fill up the whole f'ing list of names with the washed up, the retired, the busts...but hey, they're local...oh that's what makes it ok then

You may be right, but for the sake of his family and the responsibility he is accepting, I would hope he gets the market rate. At this time, with his experience, I would say about 850K would be appropriate.

You want to hire the DC guy that loses to Louisiana in the NOLA bowl or the guy that beats Louisiana in the NOLA bowl?

Clark here. Yes Im serious I would be down for these guys. Mike will need to make some serious hires on the defensive side of the ball.

Either one. Lance would add value as a DC or position coach.

    All good.

Just curious, what makes Jake Delhomme any different than any former, successful quarterback that is still involved with his alma mater? And has zero coaching experience?
