I think that would go a long way to helping ease people’s minds. If Des legitimately beat out some big names, then maybe there is something to this notion that we can just keep the train rolling with a new conductor. Until then, it’s just a big mystery.

He extended Marlin…TWICE. He’s not infallible.

You are quashing dissent when there is adequate reason to question. These guys can make mistakes.

Y’all are like the FBI. We need bugs in maggards office. I need to know exactly who and what was said. Did we interview everyone possible, did we settle for Mike? Did anyone turn down the job? Did we USL it? Are we going to suck again?

Mike’s not taking the job because he’s desperate. He’s got similar commitments from Maggard that Billy had. I’m trusting Maggard here and have no doubt Mike’s getting what he needs to be successful.

How do you know that? Napier had leverage on a program that needed a fresh start. What leverage does Des have to get similar concessions from Maggard? I doubt our AD would financial decisions on warm and fuzzy feelings.

I was a regular at the dome for years. Haven’t been since the LSU loss in the nit and Marlins mouth around that game.
