I believe I read one of the best replies to negativitiy on Fb just now...."Would you be excited if the University just hired an up and coming OC from a Top 25 program that had just won it's 4th division title, 2nd straight Conference Championship, 5th bowl appearance in 6 years and 3rd 10-win season in a row - all with this guy on the staff?" Best comment I've seen yet.

A little more local media exposure over the last six years would have helped perception of Desormeaux right now.

I’d be more excited if sed oc had more of a hand in that teams offense say calling plays but nevertheless we shall see…

    Awesome response.

If he was an up and coming OC that had actually called a game it would be even awesomer.

Yes, except he was co-OC. We all know who called the plays.

But, if he doesn't call the plays as HC, who cares? Napier was one of the few HCs who called plays, and I don't think it was the best situation. He doesn't need to be an offensive or defensive genius. He needs to hire the offensive and defensive genius.

I don't think Bobby Bowden was a great Xs and Os man. Or Joe Paterno.

Many games that where way to close than they should have been can be directly attributed to Levi being coached up to be a pocket passer instead of a dual threat QB.
Fine, you won't have to put up with him anymore. The future is bright for you.

And play calling would only have improved if Desmo were calling them.

App st. Coach was the OL coach when promoted. He was co-OC before then. Seems to have worked out well for them
