My apologies to Mr. Wagon. I was adamant that there was little to no chance that Louisiana would be rated this high, and I am very glad that I was oh so wrong!

My apologies to Mr. Wagon. I was adamant that there was little to no chance that Louisiana would be rated this high, and I am very glad that I was oh so wrong!

I still stand by my comments. The Cajuns are #23 in the CFP. The CFP are the only rankings that mean anything right now. It is great that we are 16 and 17 in the AP and coaches poll. But we are not near there in the CFP and we won’t be. We will be lucky to be inside the top 20 in the CFP after the bowl game. The only poll that means anything at this point is the CFP.

I think it means a lot to potential coaches, and they manage the system.

I think it means a lot to recruits, and they win the games.

I think it means a lot to everyone who schedules us, which is why they always list the highest ranking they can find.
