    Well, as long as we are all coming clean, if anyone wants to know how the “Lafayette” sign that was in the North end zone “Disappeared” years ago (during a work day), I think I may be the only one that can tell you.

    Funny you mention that. Drove thru the intersection Johnston/St Mary this week, actually noticed the university gave up trying to keep “Lafayette” on the two walls on the St. Mary side. Good deed years ago duplicate decades later.

    ….Did the guy that ran on the field actually do this? I notice back some years the scratched out Lafayette was used in a photo shot against us….anybody remember?

    Well, not only that. One of the mules we were using for the work weekend also disappeared... Gerald Hebert caught hell about it.

    I miss going by the Eauque to visit Z and a few others.

    I remember bringing my younger lsu brother by there one game and Z gave him gumbo with eggs in it. He loved it so much!!! He asked to go back many times but Z didn't have gumbo those games. Lol

    I've quit inviting him to games bc we lost almost every single time he'd come a game. Even game we should definitely win.
