Doubtful anything serious. There are so many very qualified candidates, its hard to believe Mike would get more than a brief discussion.

Coaches very rarely have a linear career path. If Mike wants to be the head coach here, he's best off going somewhere else, getting some full coordinator experience, and then coming back here in 4-6 years when we have our next opening.

A good coach can teach, he has to be able to translate his knowledge to his students.
