UL Football SBC Championship Injury Situation

App State will have its stud running back Cameran Peoples on the field, he missed the game earlier this year. He is a difference maker.

On the Cajun side of things, anyone know the status of these players:

O'Cyrus T.he's got to come back, David Hudson, as tough as he is, will have his AZZZ handed to him by App D line.
Percy ButlerDidn't play most or at all vs ULM
DT Narcisse. He was held out of ULM, anyone know.
Any fresh injury to report on others.Big one is O'Cyrus. He has to play for UL to be successful.

Hoping to have Torrence back. He has been in concussion protocol for 2 weeks. I would assume he would be back. Might have been precautionary last week.

Was Montrell Johnson hurt against ULM? Only had 5 carries last week. Wasn't sure if that was a senior day decision or if they were trying to keep him healthy for the CCG.

I think we held out a bunch of guys to be ready for App. Minor injuries to make sure they were not worse for a much bigger game.

I'm not as worried about Peoples. He lost his starting job to Nate Noel when he got injured but couldn't get it back. He is definitely a contributor and we will see him a lot on Saturday but I'm more concerned about us.

We will not win without Torrence. He is a huge difference maker when combined with Mitchell and Vallot. Also, the LTs (plural) need to play better.

M Gardner also missed last week, and F Gardner hurt his hand in the 2nd half and did not return afterward.

Billy said Mekhi and Percy were held out as a precaution. Both should be ready. O'Cyrus practiced yesterday.

Well, IMHO that would be a mistake. Coach does not use the two (Noel & Peoples) as starter vs. 2nd stringer, but more like different types of RBs. Noel is smaller, crafty, and quick, while Peoples is larger, faster and will run over Dlinemen; think Bo Jackson. So … be very afraid.

Don't remember any of that happening last time we played. Geaux play in the street.

    Afraid isn’t a word we’re familiar with.

He runs over App State Defensive Linemen because most of them weigh less than 270 pounds.
