Well, to be fair, I was at both championship games in Boone, and neither game was close to a sellout. It's a really tough ask to sell 35k seats to a game with only a couple weeks notice. Even a fanbase as rabid as App St. couldn't do it, so I anticipate a mediocre crowd, but hope I'm terribly, massively wrong. We will find out in 32 hours.

I think the only way to do it in a league like the Sunbelt is to "gift" the championship game tickets to the season ticket holders of the host team. It would be a little incentive to buying season tickets. It would also add to the demand with less tickets available from the get-go.

Seriously, one thing I haven't seen mentioned is TV viewership. With Gator Nation tuned in, it's gonna be up there. Would be great if it were in front of 37k.
