Have to have 30+...if similar weather in Boone, App would put 30k SRO in the rock...shameful for an area of our size can't outdraw the conference standard

Well, to be fair, I was at both championship games in Boone, and neither game was close to a sellout. It's a really tough ask to sell 35k seats to a game with only a couple weeks notice. Even a fanbase as rabid as App St. couldn't do it, so I anticipate a mediocre crowd, but hope I'm terribly, massively wrong. We will find out in 32 hours.

Magggs just told Scott there are plenty of seats available. Not even close to a sellout. We gotta do better.

I'll take either of those results, as long as there's a W for the Cajuns.

But I do like Mullet's 3-2 prediction still.

I think the only way to do it in a league like the Sunbelt is to "gift" the championship game tickets to the season ticket holders of the host team. It would be a little incentive to buying season tickets. It would also add to the demand with less tickets available from the get-go.

It'll be higher scoring than that. I'm thinking 5-4.

Seriously, one thing I haven't seen mentioned is TV viewership. With Gator Nation tuned in, it's gonna be up there. Would be great if it were in front of 37k.

3 safeties in 1 game, that would be awesome.

I am a Saints season ticket holder as well as a Cajun Ticket holder. I remember a couple of years ago, a playoff game had tickets available up to kick-off and Foote was ranting about spoiled fans... I actually called him "long time listener first time caller" type. I pointed out to him that playoff tickets are expensive and come right in the middle of the holidays. The people who sit next to me at the Saints games save money all year to afford their ST's and simply could not come up with the $1,000 or so (you had to pay up front for 2 playoff games back then.. now you can "pay as we play")

My point and this is not to give excuses to "casual fan" but this is "extra money" some people will not be able to afford. Now $40 versus $1,000 is a big difference but the point remains for some it may be difficult. I'm thinking 27,500
