I am a Saints season ticket holder as well as a Cajun Ticket holder. I remember a couple of years ago, a playoff game had tickets available up to kick-off and Foote was ranting about spoiled fans... I actually called him "long time listener first time caller" type. I pointed out to him that playoff tickets are expensive and come right in the middle of the holidays. The people who sit next to me at the Saints games save money all year to afford their ST's and simply could not come up with the $1,000 or so (you had to pay up front for 2 playoff games back then.. now you can "pay as we play")
My point and this is not to give excuses to "casual fan" but this is "extra money" some people will not be able to afford. Now $40 versus $1,000 is a big difference but the point remains for some it may be difficult. I'm thinking 27,500
Not exactly the same conversation as gifting seats to season ticket holders but I wish the conference would pay for the visiting band to go to the CCG. Dueling bands would add so much atmosphere to these games. I assume they will pipe in App band music like they did in Boone for us but the real band would be much more awesome.
Anyone has heard how many tickets sold for the game yet?
Prediction:
Cajuns win 28-27 in front of 33,000 fans on a last second 24 yard field goal from Snyder that bounces off the right upright and goes in!
God, I hope it does not come down to a FG for the win.....I really don't.
For the love of god please don't let it come down to a last second field goal of any kind. I am not sure I can take it!
I know 7 people coming for game from areas outside of Acadiana that have never been to a game. I’m also hearing student excitement is good. I think it will be up to the walk up crowd. 29,000 UL 27-24
