I trust Dr Maggard he has made 6 hires already every one has been great so for. Trust the process I definitely do for sure promise you he will not USL it like other athletic directors in the past.

Great coach even better man. He’d represent us well. He and HUD didn’t see eye to eye at all. Unfortunately hud had the power to overturn jays calls and probably did a little to often. End of the first half at tech comes to mind when hud tried to force it.

Honestly Jay, I would love if it isn't one of the names that have been mentioned. I don't think anyone mentioned is a good idea.

And don’t forget turning the ball over within 5 minutes either side of half time. Even that got predictable with Hud.

The biggest problem jay had at UL is meat head with his brain in his bicep wouldn’t get out the way. Hud overrode him to much.

If one of Dr. Maggard's HC criteria is a tireless recruiter, not sure Jay Johnson checks that box. Extremely nice guy and good offensive mind, but never struck me as a recruiter. This is just an observation from afar, so someone could correct me on that.

I was trying to find what kind of offense Jay Johnson is running at MSU, but can't find anything besides the season averages. We had a few offensive coordinators, and it always seemed like our offense was centered around zone-read in the shotgun. So I always bought into the theory that Hud was telling his OC to build off of that concept.
