Lebby was the OC at Southeastern LA in 2017 when they hung 48 points on us. Since then he has coached at UCF and is now the OC at Ole Miss. Makes $1.2M as OC.

I tried to warn you people about this, as did someone else in leadership many years ago. Going after someone like Billy Napier who has eyes on a bigger job will keep you continuing to spin your wheels having to hire a new head coach every 3 to 4 years.

Finding someone who is comfortable with their place in Lafayette, like Bob Marlin, or even previously Jerry Baldwin, means you don’t have to keep worrying and expanding energy constantly having to hire someone new.

EVERY G5 Coaching gig is a stepping stone to P5. All of us know success will get you raided. We know what we signed up for being fans of a G5 program

absolutely, but to say he elevated us to new heights is just incorrect . . .

The thing is Bustle got UL out of the basement in his 4th year.

His mistake was in completely starting over in year 6 after a plateau season in year 5.
