There are a number of good OC's & DC's out there that will be interested. But like Billy, what they can bring to the table, other than X's & O's, will be as important or more important than simply the X's & O's they will bring.

I tried to warn you people about this, as did someone else in leadership many years ago. Going after someone like Billy Napier who has eyes on a bigger job will keep you continuing to spin your wheels having to hire a new head coach every 3 to 4 years.

Finding someone who is comfortable with their place in Lafayette, like Bob Marlin, or even previously Jerry Baldwin, means you don’t have to keep worrying and expanding energy constantly having to hire someone new.

Lebby was the OC at Southeastern LA in 2017 when they hung 48 points on us. Since then he has coached at UCF and is now the OC at Ole Miss. Makes $1.2M as OC.
