…..TAKE an average recruiting rank of 3 years and this gives a theoretical rank of where a team might be ranked nationally….now take the present rank….for all the peripheral reasons that might occur along with it…..so why is a UL that would have a recruiting rank say at about 65 now #24 in the country…..program and this is a reason for possible promotion from within the guys remaining……thinking Juluke might be the guy to promote from within and keep a good thing going…..obviously I just hate to see this staff being broken up with departures to Fla or not chosen by the new guy! Always wondered what titles meant in the pecking order but is assistant HC a higher rank than OC? And also why?

…..Exactly… you make my point of what happens from the recruitment to performance on the field……I say it’s the total program of which obviously coaching is key…..so do you have the coaches designation orders?

Coaching can explain some of it, but the truth of the matter is that the final rankings cannot follow recruiting rankings. Pretty much every year every team in the SEC and Big 10 are ranked ahead of pretty much G5 team, but they can't all have great records because they are in the same conferences and play each other.

Recruiting rankings are always skewed HEAVILY towards the conference rankings. Poll rankings are just mostly skewed towards conference rankings.

This is a wild idea what about Dieon Sanders? He has turned JSU around and won coach of the year. Also a good recruiter. Kind of torn but he has a resume now and it looks good.

Not no, but hell no! This guy is so damn full of himself that it’s beyond pathetic. He’s got a damn entourage with him wherever he goes. You would think one would grow out of this, but he has not. Far cry from the cULture of being humble and staying focused. If you’re really impressed with his coaching resume, I’d hate to know what you think of some others. His resume is not impressive. Did you see the schedule they played? Lastly, he’s 54 years old - not exactly in his “Prime”
