People spend money on what they want. The shopping centers, restaurants, and hwys were full of cars the last few days. The economy is an excuse to abandon this team when it needs us the most.
How many people spent money driving to BR to support LSU today? Probably more than was in our stadium.

Want there all kinds of outreach to Acadians by the athletics department? My FB page is lit up with outreach from Ragin Cajun athletics.

For a town the size of Lafayette they should be able to plop 30k into that stadium six times a year. Many-a much smaller college towns accomplish way more with way ____tier teams.

It’s a generation thing. For far too long the problem has been poor facilities ie stadium. Poor unexciting opponents. That’s what the last generation grew up seeing. Now that things are moving in the right direction it’s gonna take a generation to fix the perception

Get back on FB, it’s the only social media I’m on and I get multiple posts per day from the athletic department. Dr Maggard is always on radio and podcasts practically begging people to attend (name any AD in the history of ADs who fell on his sword more than after concessions-gate, well except for the stupid TxSt AD who apologized for getting their arses beat). They are reaching out but no one is answering.

Hell, the team is doing all the talking needed, quit letting our lazy, ____ty fans off the hook.

Build a really nice 20k seat stadium and be happy when it almost sells out, against App St, for the championship.

Some incomes are more resilient than others. The oil service business haven’t been bruised, they’re destroyed. That’s killing a lot of high earners with low education jobs. It’s also killing the free tickets.

I’m in oilfield services and that’s a cop out. 2015 was a long damned time ago and Covid did a little bit of damage but it’s still an excuse. You have to choose to support this team, in any way you can…or you’re not a fan. Quit making excuses.
