Holtz had an evergreen contract with automatic extensions for making bowl games. With the conference we have, it was never going to be cheaper.

According to ESPN, LA NECH and Skip Holtz have decided to part ways. Holtz will coach his last game with da Dawgs tomorrow against Rice.

I believe the UL job is a step or 3 above anything offered in Ruston, I don't think we'll be scrapping the bottom of the barrel like they will at Tech..

Two good candidates right there in the RGLP Methroplex. Jerrod Baugh, head man at Ruston High is available. And his team outdrew Tech the other night.

Boderick Fobbs just parted ways with Grambling. Dude had a winning record and poof.

I think those brownies you had for dessert yesterday had something a little extra special in them. Tech was stretched to offer Holtz 700K on his extension last year. And then there is the Ruston thing.....

We are no where close to competing with Tech on a head coach hire and that is a good thing.
