Yep. The Big 12 champ will jump them. It's a given.

It's all BS. Cincy should be #3, they will never allow them to be #3 at best they will be #4, but probably #5 or #6. The reason they don't want to make them #3 is they are scared that Cincy would win the #3 vs #2 matchup. They are purposely going to force Cincy, if they play in the CFP championship to face Georgia, knowing Georgia is by far the best team in the 4 team playoff. This what they assume, keep Cincy at #4 if they allow them in, Georgia will beat Alabama and Bama will slip out of the playoffs with 2 losses. That leaves Cincy at #4. They are going to do everything possible to keep Cincy either out of the playoffs or at #4, I would bet almost anything on that.

Just happy they are there. For now. Eliminates some of the argument that g5 can’t get into the top 4. They are there. Just need to stay there.

Likely scenarios: Cincinnati beats East Carolina this week then Houston for the AAC championship. Ohio State/Michigan winner beats Wisconsin or Iowa for Big 10 championship. Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma then Baylor for the Big 12 championship (Baylor owns the tiebreak over Oklahoma) OR Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State back to back weeks (OK State owns Baylor tiebreak).

If this happens, I only see two avenues that keep Cincinnati in the playoffs:
    1. Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC championship game or,
    2. The committee likes Cincinnati's undefeated season and road win over Notre Dame better than Oklahoma's two wins over Oklahoma State.

No. 2 has a very slim chance of actually hapenning, I think . . .
