I don't like the media being able to announce stuff like this during the season. Too much of a distraction for a coach's current team. I also don't like how they talk like we don't matter.

Well I hope they respect us enough to give our coaching search some air time. We have to be an attractive destination at this point at least.

You’re assuming the next HC will retain any/all of the assistants that Napier doesn’t take with him. That is highly unlikely. The new HC will want his own people.

Yes. The deadline was Wednesday at midnight. The news wasn't going to be released until after the ULM game. Coach Napier will coach the CCG and then jet out.

The new coach may keep one or two. Like you said they will have most of there own people coming with them.
