Of course, what looks better for an SEC hire from their point of view...Louisiana or Louisiana-Lafayette? The good part of that is Napier knows how the Refineryville bunch has fought this. He won’t play that game, respect is in his DNA.
I’m going to love watching Napier and Florida bend over Alice Shoe the next few years.
I will be hoping our next coach, that will be here within the next 3 weeks, will be moving to an SEC job in 4 years as well.

That's a lot of eyeballs watching and waiting. #cULture
Why would anyone want to be hoping this? I wish Napier would stay and make us a major player in college football. He got us to the top 25, now I wish he would stay and get us to the top 5 playing for a national title.
But if he moves on, then I wish our next coach would get us there. People say there are no more Bowden's in this world, but Saban seems to be staying in place until he decides to move on. Why can't that happen here.
So I for one DO NOT HOPE our next coach, or even our current coach, will be moving to an SEC job in 4 years. I want this school competing very competitively against the SEC and all P5 programs for years to come. I want LaSU to need to play us every year (like a FL St. vs FL, Ole Miss vs MS St, AL vs Auburn, Mich. St vs Mich, UCLA vs USC.....)
This is not a pipe dream but a very possible reality. If anyone else is thinking different, then they are not a true Louisiana fan.
Can they take Marlin with him?
