That’s funny it was just there. It was Jordy Cullota (not sure who that is) saying he has it on good authority that CBN has said he is not talking to any team until LSU hires a coach but In the same sentence he says CBN will be a player in the UF job.

If and when the Florida job becomes available, he will be mentioned as a possible candidate. All of the top SEC jobs come with their share of politics involved. If Florida allows it's new coach is allowed to hire his own staff and has a few other allowances, Coach Napier will likely interview if asked. Why? Because Florida is one of the Top 4 or 5 coaching jobs in the SEC, have the funding and facilities necessary to challenge for a national championship. Not to mention one of the top recruiting states in the country.

He's not going anywhere until he wins the conference.

He's been mentioned for every SEC job that has come up since year two. Yet he's still here.

Honest question. How many of those openings had a legitimate shot at a national championship?

That's what I think. I believe the LSU and, if it happens, Florida positions would be the first ones where a coach could honestly believe that a national championship was possible. That alone is a huge difference.

I think Auburn was a one shot wonder and feel as though BN may have also.
