I’m just glad CBN stuck around this long considering we can’t get fans to the friggin game. We can’t all give oodles of cash in donations but just getting a ticket and going to the game would be a nice start.

Next week will give you an indicator of the fan base we have potential for. Patience.

True fact is we not a P5 and until we get a legit shot at a playoff spot that will help increase the fan base. If we were in a P5 conference that would help also with attendance….the reality is we compete with LSU and we expect to fill a big stadium when every game is on tv. Not happening these days. We have to build a tradition and that starts with the students and SGA making the football games part of being at school. Freshman need to be indoctrinated and that is how we get a tradition started.

We have had some solid fan attendance in the past, but we must realize we are now a 35k max fanbase except in very special situations.

Any word on whether Napier has been having discussions with LSU? Just curious with Riley evidently not going to LSU. I wonder if Napier still had any interest in that job once he had serious discussions with Florida.
