    Asking for a friend.
If you can’t ask for yourself, get off the board . . .

Don’t believe half what you are told, it’s not good for your reputation. . .

Good luck with that. If a coach has longevity at the G5 level, you have nothing but a mediocre coach at best . . .

It's about getting out of the G5.

    Unfortunately, it is.

I’d rather have this situation than any we had prior to this, fired or quit.

I make some but not all of them and I will not allow this thread to be about 1 fan. So That’s the end of that.

You could sign up for Skip Holtz and keep him for 9 years instead

Come on now…you know better than that.

The reality of the situation is, in the current state of college football, we are a stepping stone. Which is a huge improvement over a coaching graveyard.

We made a great effort to retain Napier, he chose to go to a program that has a legit shot at winning it all. Which we will never give a coach that opportunity until things change.

Unless we can find a way to triple our athletic budget, then we are a stepping stone.

Maybe can knock off some of that 3 mill in exchange for a home and home contract.

Hell, apparently a lot of jobs these days are stepping stones of differing degrees. See Oklahoma.
