What a circus. ULM has possession at the end of the first half, under 2 minutes left. Went into locker room with all three time outs in their pocket.

Then the second half they interview McNeese/Cody Oregeron. Dude is sporting a LSU windbreaker. Then he basically talks about how he and dad will be spending quality time traveling to beaches after the season (on LSU’s buyout).

Then top top it off, Eaux is caught yelling at a Warhawk play to “shut up”.

And LSU kicks a meaningless 50+ yard FG field goal under 2 minutes to make it 13. Like the hoax we’re going to storm back.

I was impressed with ULMs front. Lots of pressure on LSU QB and generally stuffed the run. Their oops on the truck play pass to the QB was a heart breaker. Beautiful play. Sad overthrow

Struggling offenses nationwide are burning the phone lines to get La Tech on the schedule ASAP. USM had not scored more than 19 points all season against an FBS opponent (19 vs. that defensive stalwart Rice). Without a QB, USM puts 35 on the board in Ruston, running away with the game (their first FBS win of the season).

It will be interesting to see if USM can eclipse the 35 points next week vs. that dumpster fire of a program, FIU.
