Hoping some Benton fans get confused and show up at the wrong stadium for their game with Ruston (colors red/white).

Not sure about the stadium in Ruston, but we plan on being at the correct stadium (Cajun Field) on December 4th.

Texas is also a different team now personnel-wise. Their defense has had some injuries and looks nothing like it was earlier in the year. And this was the first full game that star RB Bijon Robinson is out.

QB Casey Thompson struggled mightily in the first half and was benched. Hudson Card played well today, including a 52 yard TD bomb. But the hole was a little to big and Card was injured on the potential game tying drive deep in WVU territory with 3:30 remaining. Thompson then came in and threw a bad INT.

Cajuns would beat Texas now … at home, neutral, or on the road. Just caught them at the wrong time. I still think that the Cajuns win the opener if it is at Cajun field. Home field means a lot … especially in the opener.

McLeast lost at home to Northwestern State to close out another losing season. 28-24. Of course, they’re calling the first fall losing season, They think the spring FCS season didn’t count even though the NCAA crowned a champion.
