Rayne High School is starting a new tradition this year by hosting its first annual Renaissance Pep Rally, annouced school officials last week.

A Renaissance Pep Rally is no ordinary pep rally. A Renaissance Pep Rally is a rally to support exceptional behavior in students. It’s like an awards program and a pep rally intertwined.

The Rayne High school administration want to show the students how proud they are of them for accomplishing tasks such as: making honor roll, perfect attendance, mastery and advanced LEAP and GEE scores, high ACT scores, and overall good behavior.
