I think the first pointed question kind of aggravated him. He seem to have saw through it and was a little miffed to be put on the spot like that. IMO, this was why he seemed a little off at the first portion of the interview. In the words of Randy Newman; "I could be wrong now, but I don't think so."

He threw out a “hypothetical” game situation but was really talking about Sean Payton’s decision to kick a field goal instead of going for it on 4th down. Napier shot it down and said something along the lines of “I think you’re trying to get me to say something bad about our states favorite coach”. It was really weird.
