I’d love to see a fundraising campaign to get the UL Foundation over $750M in 10 years.

My money will go to Football! Academics very polarized politically. Example is English dept homepage. i don't want either sides perspective on where they stand politically.

…..Please don’t bring up the RCAF not being in the Foundation chain…..again, all money goes to whom and where it is assigned!

I am sorry Boomer, that’s not what I was doing. I just thought the article could have informed us how and where to contribute directly. I was looking here for guidance. After further research, I have realized that I have contributed to the campaign both academically and athletically.

…….No problem ……but like you I have given to both and never had a problem with funds being distributed to the correct fund …..some have not favored this, where I could see the money saved on staff bucks, equipment, and office space!

There are some departments that are fairly apolitical, take the College of Engineering as an example. Like athletics, donations to the university do not have to be only to the general fund.

That's correct. I am very excited to see there will be a new Engineering building. It was old when I went to school and I am old, so do the math.
