Thread: Troy 2:30 Saturday 11/13

Neither Powell or Watson will hurt us. They are pedestrian at QB. The running back that gashed South Carolina, Vidal, is the real threat on offense.

My biggest concern for this game is it has the potential to expose our lack of depth (because of injury) on the offensive line. They will be aggressive and play very physical. Slants and screens, and run the football. I like that we had a little extra time to prepare for them, though. This is the perfect opportunity to feature the most underutilized position group on our football team: TE.

They have only given up over 30 points once this year, 35 to coastal. Scoring 45 against their defense would be impressive

This is going to be a tough game for the Cajuns offensively. It's going to be somewhat low scoring and turnovers will possibly determine this game. The scary part, we need to not miss field goals.

And choose to kick them when the opportunity presents itself

They gave up 24 to Ga Sou, 28 to Texas State (!), and 24 to USA. We gave up 20, 18, and 0.

We have a better defense, especially with their non mobile QBs. We also have a better offense (.)

I think we win this relatively easily, 35-14.

Also, I'm deathly afraid of Troy.

If only we could get everyone on this Louisiana team to play well at the same time…
