I got lucky guessing Leon Ortemond. Jimmy is a good friend and knew he played football for USL but didn’t recall he was a running back in high school. Hail Pochè

    Who’s coach Thib?

BigSaucy needs to do some research, 2 posts makes you somewhat questionable.

    Or you are Boomer.

Seth Thibodeaux. He used to be head coach for Nicholls State, but he's the Associate Head Coach/Pitching Coach for us now.

Why are the Nichols players and fans so ____ed at Coach Thibodeaux? Is he a recruiting liability for UL?

Absolutely not. Coach Thib is a baseball man. Robe loved him. He is respected among peers. Getting him to come and be an assistant here was a HUGE get for Deggs. I'd bet with any amount of success over the next 2-3 years, he'll be offered another head coaching gig somewhere in the south.

That’s correct. Their daddy was Alphonse, who grew up in Bob Acres.

Have you heard something other than what was posted in this thread? If not then it is only one player. You will be hard pressed to find any team where there aren't a few players who don't like the coach. Doesn't make the player right or the coach wrong. Just life.

Part of the whole recruiting process is finding that coach that is a "fit" for you as an athlete. Don't read to much into this.

So will he be bad for recruiting or just didn’t get along with this kid going to Ole Miss?

Ethan will be the first VC baseball player ever to sign with a SEC school. Football and womens basketball had someone play for an SEC school previously.

When did we all of a sudden become impressed with an SEC school here?

Ethan will play 2022 season at Delgado and then move to Ole Miss next fall.
