We should win, but GSU can be good many times.
I just finished my preview and will be posting it soon, but that is what I can tell you about them. They are a scary good and a scary bad team. Depends on which one we see. I know we are all proud of our 45-0 win, but while I think we would have won even with Brady McBride at QB, I think Texas State would have scored some points and moved the ball better with Brady at the helm.

Both Destin Coates (RB) and Quad Brown (QB) were the starters last year. Very interesting. This should not effect their play on the field as both have fallen to backups, but for sure effects the depth on the roster and injuries could cause huge issues.

It might change the game plan now to have a little less risk to your starting QB.

That is true, Grainger is a QB that likes to run, interesting to see what they do knowing that the backup has no experience what so ever. Just looking at Mikele Colasurdo, who is the freshman backup for Ga State, he was not a super highly recruited kid, only had offers from Ga State and Coastal at the FBS level and also had Campbell, Charleston Southern and EKU on the FCS level. He did put up some pretty impressive numbers in HS though.

You can bet Coach Elliott will have his guys ready...its not how you start, but how you finish. Cajuns know how to finish...

Georgia State is very much a run first football team. They have a very good OL, right behind the Cajuns and maybe CCU. They played a very difficult non conference schedule and went 1-3. They are 3-1 in the league and have won three in a row.

Games against them are generally very close.

If a kid enters the transfer portal mid season, they don’t finish out the season with the team they are on?
