Why “in case App St stumbles”?
We may need “style points” to move up in the Top 25, but even winning out with every game ending in 10 ots (although not good) still gets us to the championship game.
If we win out and coastal wins out, the SBC Champion ship game is still played in Lafayette….

SMU tying the game and Jones (ex Troy) subsequently returning the kickoff for the winning score was quite a sequence. No doubt that was a little salt in the wound (we are in the Big XII and you are not).

But again … the Cajuns control their own destiny w/respect to the Sun Belt title game. Does not matter what App State or Covid Carolina does.

If the Cajuns lose a conference game and Covid wins the East (because App State loses), I think there is little chance the Cajuns host.

As for myself, I want to see Covid Carolina in the Sun Belt title game in Lafayette.
