Been hearing this for 15 years now, and nothing has really happened in that regard other than the failed attempt to bring adult men's soccer to Lafayette 10 years or so ago, which was a fail. It was the same hype about soccer then as it is now.

Gulf Coast Premier League, they are an affiliate of the MLS Houston Dynamo. They play home games usually at Clark Field or St Julien Park in Broussard.

Don't know them all but New Orleans, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Jackson, MS, Fairhope, AL, Mobile

The League is the Gulf Coast Premier League. They are the amateur affiliate of the Houston Dynamo of the MLS. They are very good, they finished this year First in the Western Conference. They play their games at the Clark Field on the Northside of town, sorry Upper Lafayette as it now called.

I have yet to be able to make a game since moving back, but my daughter and I have talked about going a few times. Their games are between May-July.

Here is their website. They have played exhibition games with LSU-E and LSU-A in the past. I had no idea they were an affiliate for the Houston Dynamo though. By the way Vic: According to their site season tickets were $50 for this year, but I am not sure how much individual tickets are.
