The 2021-22 schedule features 15 contests in the Cajundome
Louisiana Men's Basketball 2021-22 single-game tickets are on sale now, as announced by the Louisiana Athletic Department on Monday.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets online. Season tickets were released for purchase on Sept. 30 and are still available.
Louisiana begins head coach Bob Marlin's 12th season at the helm on Tuesday, Nov. 9, versus West Florida at the Cajundome.
The team's Sun Belt schedule features home matchups with Arkansas State, Little Rock, UT Arlington, Texas State, Georgia State and Georgia Southern. The Ragin' Cajuns will play two conference games a week with the contests played on Thursdays and Saturdays.
In total, the league portion features five home Saturday games at the Cajundome beginning on Thursday, Jan. 6 against Arkansas State.
On Sunday, Louisiana competed in a down-to-the-wire charity exhibition at No. 14 Alabama.
Louisiana finished 17-9 overall last season and was 10-7 in Sun Belt Conference play. The Ragin' Cajuns return nine letterwinners and three starters from last year's team highlighted by senior Dou Gueye and reigning Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year Theo Akwuba.
The Ragin' Cajuns brought in a highly-touted newcomer class keyed by a pair of Lafayette natives – Greg Williams, Jr. (St. John's) and Jalen Dalcourt (San Jose State). Arizona transfer Jordan Brown – a consensus prep All-American and Ragin' Cajun's legacy – and Creighton transfer Antwann Jones.
Akwuba was recently named to the preseason All-Sun Belt first team while Brown earned an appearance on the third team.
Louisiana also inked a pair of talented freshmen who have Lafayette roots in Joe Charles (Carencro) and Carter Domingue (St. Thomas More).
Season-ticket holders can download their tickets through mobile ticketing from Ticketmaster. Fans can download the #GeauxCajuns app to their smartphone to begin the process.
Those who are unable to download tickets or wish to have their tickets printed can visit the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the Cajundome.
