Thread: The Good news for the Next 2 weeks

  1. Default The Good news for the Next 2 weeks

I know we are all worried about each and every game the Cajuns have remaining on their schedule, but I am a glass half full type of guy and here is one really good trend.

Cajuns have played their best football in the last 2 home games, good news is that we have back to back home games coming up. Our best 2 games of the season by far have been a not so good Ohio team and a what we think is a pretty good App team, the two teams we play next are not as good as App. Verse Ohio and App the Cajuns put up a total of 49 and 41 point respectively while holding opponents to 14 and 13. Not only that but in both of those games the Cajuns had over 450 yards of total offense while holding both teams to under 250 yards of offense.

That is an average of 45 points scored vs 13.5 points against.
That is an average of 508.5 yards for vs 230.5 yards against.

Good news is we are 6-1 and 4-0 in the conference, bad news is we have not looked great in all but 2 games, but those games have been our last two home games. If this trend continues, we can expect to be 8-1 and 6-0 when we hit the road again vs Troy. I fully expect this to be the case and I think the Cajuns will put up big numbers both on offense and defense vs Texas State and Georgia State at home.

    Geaux Cajuns!!!!!!!

They ALL worry me seeing as how we have a tendency to play down to our competition.
