I just don't believe that we had "no choice."

I know for a fact the Scott Farmer turned down games when ESPN wanted to flex the Cajuns in. Maybe things have changed, but I just don't believe ESPN can just force a school to railroad their fanbase, especially for homecoming, with no input from the administrators.

Oh, so you really think our administration bowed down to ESPN two years in a row for homecoming?

I’d like to think maggard is in touch enough with the fan base that if he had a choice he would have passed, given our schedule this year and Saturday games. Going to be a hard sell on tailgate spots next year

I remember when attendance was the worst going and watching the band, leaving and going to get drinks, coming back and getting the same parking spot and then walking into a mostly empty stadium
