If we had a real fan base, 11 a.m. kickoffs wouldn't be a problem.

There are any number of nationally ranked teams that consistently play noon games, and have great crowds. They don't whine about having to show up early.

Kickoffs at 11 a.m. are a good problem to have. It means we're being noticed.

For what it is worth, our neighborhood Facebook group just decided to change Halloween to Saturday night since the Cajuns kickoff at 11:00. Still a bummer but nonetheless people are taking notice.

    1. Whether it is homecoming for the home team
    2. How many games either of the teams played on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday this year (except to see if there was a good viewership from showing one of those teams on a weekday previously)
    3. How it will affect tailgating or if there is even tailgating.
    4. How the stadium will look re: attendance

    And on and on.
The only reasn to have a mid week game is to be on ESPN. I don't think the conference is scheduling mid-week games in hopes that ESPN will pick it up. I believe that the conference and ESPN collaborate on which games will be mid-week and televised.

Actually, every parent should be thankful in your neighborhood for the UL game moving since the kids won’t be sugared up on a school night.

Probably be a good idea to throw together a Friday night event and have a band at the band stand, Say around 6:30 PM or 7 PM.

Go ahead and do Cajun walk Friday night, and have the players mingle during the Game day eve event.

Cooking will have to start a bit earlier.

Hopefully a good turn out for the game.

Maybe bring in a band afterward to help make a good day of it.

Once again how many of those teams have played 2 weeknight games before and 1 after that 11 am kickoff. We as fans have gotten ____ed and its hard to build a fanbase off being ____ed on GameDay

Niu and central Michigan play on ESPN 8 premium...it ain't that special. Maybe we can get the ESPN news 8 am time slot for ULM

Those nationally ranked teams with "real fan bases" don't have half of their home games on week nights either

One midweek home game a season is one thing but this season is ridiculous. That's not good unless you're happy with 15k average attendance for one of our best teams ever. Most on this board will be there regardless but it's the "casual fans" that make the difference in having large crowds on a regular basis.
