Homecoming Kickoff Changed to 11 AM

After Homecoming, the last 10 Home games were....

4 midweek games

5 Saturday kickoffs at 11am-1pm.

1 Saturday night.

That's FUBAR

Tailgate Friday night. They should have a band Friday night and then again after the game Saturday. RV’s can show up Friday and pull an all nighter.

The change isn’t ideal but it is what it is when you are a decent g5. Show up!!! Quit _____in’

What happened to Homecoming festivities? People plan & spend time and money on travel arrangements, reunions, parade. This is going to cause plenty of disgust. Supporters & alumni don't mean much these days.

Everything has to be adjusted. They will meet to figure it out. Parade time will change...everything will change. HOFers need to be notified. The administration will make the best they can out of a tough situation.

Easier said than done. Families have other obligations and plan these things out, especially for homecoming weekend. We fans that spend money on tailgating and building the game day experience will rightfully B___H about this.

That's a silver lining. I'm sure the administration isn't thrilled about all these schedule changes, but will adapt and get creative. Anyway (or any time) you can tailgate is better than nothing at all.

Why would ESPN give a darn about backlash from Louisiana fans? You do realize that under the contract, ESPN sets the time of games and there's nothing Maggard or even the conference can do about it.

And do you think the president of Troy or ULM is willing to give up the ESPN money because Louisiana is inconvenienced?
