Yea I thought about that as well, I just had the station on for a few minutes and heard Napier so I kept it on. Regardless, he really made a point of how big a good crowd would be for the team. Man, we really need a packed house for this team, they have deserved it for multiple years now.

This is why this scheduling shenanigans is so frustrating. This team deserves support

Authement had Stokely wearing the Athletic Directors hat, Head Football coaches hat, and sports schedulers hat all simultainiosly at a time when neither Authement or Stickley could use computers to help them do their job.

The only truth to come out of that era and is now modern day myth, is that scheduling is hard.

Maybe I have put that out of my memory; please refresh me. I do remember (I think) sitting in our tailgating spot against ULM for Brandon's last game because it wan't worth it to go in the stadium and freeze. Bad time for sure for me.

We gave up over 1000 points over 22 games. In fact, we gave up a then NCAA record 553 points in 1997. We scored 176. Also, lost to North Alabama. A Division II school, not 1-AA, Division II.

New wrinkle in the plans I just noticed. Each time the Astros go to the World Series, I go to Houston for Game 4 which is always a Saturday. This year, Game 4 will be homecoming night. Possible World Series watch party in the tailgate spot!

Coach Chris if you dont go to game 4 just text me and let me know and I will purchase the tickets from you.

I think this is a very good sign for homecoming attendance:

I work for a very large corporation and an email was sent out at 11 AM to respond for free GA tickets to the Texas State game. 3 hours later another email was sent out saying there was an overwhelming response and they reached the maximum of their allotment.

Parade is supposed to pass right by the AA tailgate tent. Parade has been rerouted. It will begin at Blackham and end at Cajun Field
