We legally cannot do that. The SBC contract with ESPN lets them set all game times. That goes for all their platforms. LSU did not like playing at 11 AM last Saturday but it worked out for them.

I just don’t get into the party in a field thing. I like football games at Cajun field.

The school should adjust tailgating prices according to actual games able to tailgate at. But look, LSU Florida got moved to 11:00. So the big boys have to deal with it as well along with their fan bases that are larger and invest a lot more than us.
How many home games is LSU playing this year on weekdays? An 11 AM start is a lot easier to take when you haven’t had 3 other tailgating chances taken away. LSU also plays 7 home games to begin with. You can keep that argument.

That’s great that you don’t value tailgating. There are many who do but don’t want to pay full price to tailgate 2-3 times a year.

The team and coaches probably like the early kickoff. Less "anxiety" time.

In today's world, the game times are not set by ESPN until the Monday of the week before the game. Dr. Maggard found out about this only a few minutes before we did.

But the official football account tweeted it first....

Is there much of a difference? We get the same check from ESPN/Sun Belt no matter the kick off time.

As a season ticket holder that has previous plans Saturday morning, this puts my ability to make the game in jeopardy.

    Especially playing a weak team.

Same. Now I have to decide whether to go to the game or play in my club championship.

Not arguing that. If you’re a tailgater, prices need to change for the spots according to games available. Or spend your money elsewhere.

This has been the case a few years. If you’re still Paying your money to tailgate expecting 6 Saturday games that’s no fault but yours.
