I predict Texas State will finish 2nd in the West this year. Their 2 bad losses they were missing 20+ players due to covid protocols. They hung with Baylor, losing 29-20. Cajuns better not be sleeping against the Bobcats.

I predict Texas State will finish 2nd in the West this year. Their 2 bad losses they were missing 20+ players due to covid protocols. They hung with Baylor, losing 29-20. Cajuns better not be sleeping against the Bobcats.

It will be between Texas State and USA, with Arkansas State and ULM bringing up the rear. Right now Texas State has the edge as they are 1-0 and USA has two conference losses, but USA is about to face ULM (win), Arkansas State (win) and probably Troy (win). That will get them to 4-2 in the conference, but they will have to face App and Coastal to finish the season. Meanwhile has to face Troy, Georgia State, Louisiana, ULM, Georgia Southern, Coastal and Arkansas State. I give the edge to TSU, specifically because they have the head to head win vs them on the tiebreaker, but this will be interesting to see who comes out in the #2 spot in the SBC West.
