I get that, so specific to Lynchburg, if I make the trip will I be able to drink in a hotel bar? What about Roanoke?

Lynchburg is wet. There are bars all over town. Lynchburg, TN is dry.

Ok I read the wiki and it says the city in Virginia is in a dry county but the city itself is wet. That being said don't know about Uni itself. Would they let you have an open container at a tailgate or even strippers like 309 wants? Lol. Beers sales inside the stadium don't bother me. If I can't bring my own in I can sneak into the presidential suite by pretending I'm the pool boy

No alcohol allowed on the University, but seeing that the game will probably be at noon I'll hold off to celebrate the win. At least now I know that Friday and Saturday night fun can be had in Lynchburg.

No alcohol on campus? It’s time to reignite that relationship with a solo cup, crisis averted!!

Is it pretty likely a noon start? We're planning a trip and the time would be great to know

Yes, it's on their schedule as such and looking back that is their traditional start time.

You can drink in Roanoke and Lynchburg, and drink heavily if you would like, or at least I have.

If you are going to go to Lynchburg and/or Roanoke for that matter, I highly suggest you guys eat at a sandwich shop called Macado's. It is a chain throughout Va and NC, but it might have the most extensive sandwich menu you have ever seen and they are all good. Look at the menu, if you can't find a good sandwich then you are not trying. Also they serve alcohol as well.

If you fail to try Macado's, you are are missing out on an experience.
