I think we dominate.
I think we can push the App St defense with our P5 sized O-line. I hope we give them a face full of Monty Johnson on a regular basis, consistently play punch-in-face football, and make them have to commit to stopping the run. Their d-line and linebackers are faster than they are big (and their lb's are really fast).
I think part of our strategy on offense has to be to wear out their front seven, run the ball between the tackles (as opposed to jet sweeps, tosses, et cetera) and grind them down. If we can average 4.5 per carry it will create opportunities in other areas and keep their offense off the field. This would not be flashy, it would win us zero style or creativity points, but this is the strength of of our offense. Too often this year we have abandoned our run game. Stick with what we do well and make them try to stop what we are good at doing. If we do this we can win...assuming we don't have a bundle of holding calls or fumbles.
I'll call the game 21-20, Cajuns.
Some people just hate the truth and actively avoid reality. Don’t you DARE build a highway through their La La Land!
Bench the QB, bench the QB, bench the QB, our coaches play call sucks, our coach sucks because the plays QB1 . . . I don't think this approach helps the team one Iota, or a for that matter, one Minnesota . . . so yes
I will be the first to line up behind the COACH if he determines it is in the best interest of the team to go in a different direction. At the success level the past three years, I'm going with the COACH now, also . . .
