We could just as easily be 1-4 right now. There’s only been 1 game this season where we’ve seen us completely dominate a team.

We could be but we aren’t. As I said last week, the same was said about last season’s start. Am I happy about the way we are playing now, No. However, people suggesting Napier give up play calling or even worse being fired is LSU-level over reaction.

We are fans, and yes we can be better. But all we ask is for the team to be "better than that". Is coach able to, and as of now it same he can't, "have them be better than that.

Question for those who know more than me. When has Billy Napier been a good play caller? He got fired by Dabo after one year. He was OC for one year at Arizona State and then here. The play calling has been questionable for his entire stint here and the QB play has gotten worse. Those are supposed to be his specialties. I love him and don’t want anyone else leading the program but this is year 4.
There should come a time when comments like “I need to coach better” “we’ll look at the tape” “we need to get better” “we have work to do” is not enough.

I have to agree with Scott on this one. The Cajuns now have a different set of standards and goals. With that being said, fans and supporters also have a different set of expectations.
