I have to agree with Scott on this one. The Cajuns now have a different set of standards and goals. With that being said, fans and supporters also have a different set of expectations.

Question for those who know more than me. When has Billy Napier been a good play caller? He got fired by Dabo after one year. He was OC for one year at Arizona State and then here. The play calling has been questionable for his entire stint here and the QB play has gotten worse. Those are supposed to be his specialties. I love him and don’t want anyone else leading the program but this is year 4.
There should come a time when comments like “I need to coach better” “we’ll look at the tape” “we need to get better” “we have work to do” is not enough.

He needs to let Mike call the plays.

I won’t argue this. I think Levi is better than the play calling is allowing him to be. But if that’s on purpose than let’s see someone else. Still running the ball effectively is a problem. Wether it’s blocking or just calling running plays, it needs to be better.

Just an FY: We averaged 7.8 yards per rushing attempt tonight. We ran the ball VERY effectively. We averaged 2.9 yards per passing attempt. You do the math.

On the same field, under the same conditions, against a better defense, Jake Bentley averaged 8.3 yards per passing attempt.

They way we winning will not cut it against App, Liberty, or maybe Coastal down the road. We both know that. Better play and coaching is the new norm when a guy is making 2 million plus a year.

Need coaches to give up play calling. As well as a QB who can make his progression without letting the entire would know who his target is .

Amazing everytime we play a team with a pulse LL goes to ____ and his defenders either deflect or blame it on another postion group
