Coach Napier has it set in his mind, he is not changing the QB. Probably has something to do with him being a former QB. He doesn't see the value that changing out a QB can provide a spark to an offense. He doesn't want to upset the apple cart.
I wish he would loosen up on his view, it could be beneficial to the offense, but we won't know because he doesn't do it. If it doesn't work, so what, start LL the next week. But at least try and get things going.
I would say Levi sucked tonight, but he didn’t turn the ball over, which is important, so it upgrades to really struggled.
I am still a firm believer that our route trees suck or our WR coaching sucks. With the way defenses stack the box, we should have multiple receivers open most of the time. Everyone comparing the QB play tonight is valid, but also compare how open SoAl’s WRs were open versus ours. It wasn’t close.
It’s not about changing QBs. It’s about designing an offense that maximizes the talent you have. Then, it becomes a matter of adjusting your play calling based on what you are seeing on the field.
