OL: Almendares out due to season ending injury

Played baseball and soccer also.

I don’t think he could play college ball in either of those sports but possibly could kick. STM had no kicker his senior year so recruited him from soccer and it panned out. He is a really good kid.

We have 2 other kickers on the roster, one is a transfer from FIU

Apparently they are garnering the same respect from our coaches as the back up QB’s.
