Not really. I don’t go into games as a fan hoping we win. We are past that as a program. Like I said we can sleep walk through 8 games and win.

I am fricken tired of “playing down” to our opponents. Which we have done in 2 games this season. Championship teams play up to their ability. We haven’t done that. We didn’t do that against Ohio either, they are just really really bad.

This season is about 4 games.

Texas=L
Appalachian St
Appalachian St or Coastal.
Bowl game.

Every other game we should win. Even playing like we have so far this season.

How many teams on this schedule can beat the Cajuns if we execute and play to our ability?

You can look at hundreds of scores already this season. Talent doesn’t give you 8 wins. There are 0 easy wins on the schedule. P5 losing to fcs teams. Even the number of close games that you wouldn’t think would be. I Don’t take wins for granted. Especially considering how few we used to have.

It’s definitely frustrating sometimes. There are high expectations regarding winning an outright championship finally, but I also remember where we came from and the ashes we rose out of. Food for thought: we finally have more overall wins than losses since 1971 and have crossed the .500 threshold. I’m smiling at the end of the day.

I’m extremely happy about that too. When I was a part of the program we didn’t have as many wins as Levi has losses. We were terrible.

But this is a completely different era of Cajun athletics.

I have no doubt that the good things coming to UL athletics have not yet run out. I doubt they will moving forward as long as we keep a solid admin in tact. Love being a ragin Cajun!
